In-Person Worship

We are open for In-Person Worship at 10 AM on Sundays. We will continue to post our church services online through the church website at chairesumc.com and Facebook after 1 PM on Sunday afternoons

Winter Recipes

Since this January will have five Sundays and in “normal” times we would have a covered dish lunch, we are asking that you send Pastor Mollie a favorite recipe to share with the congregation. The deadline for submission is January 27th

Flowers For the Sanctuary

The sign-up sheet to place flowers in the sanctuary is in the hallway near the nursery.

Volunteers Needed as Ushers

Volunteers will serve for a month at a time. If there are four teams, then you will usher only three months a year. See Pastor Mollie for more information.

Upper Room Devotionals

The Upper Room devotionals for January and February are at the back of the church.

Adult Sunday School

The Adult Sunday School Class is meeting in-person on Sunday at 9 AM in the tree-house building behind the church. Those who are unable to attend can continue to participate by phone at 508-924-1895.

Giving Through Our Website

Go to https://chairesumc.com and click on the blue GIVE button and you will be taken to the church REALM site. You do not need a REALM account to make a one-time donation. The church secretary will help you set up your REALM account for recurring gifts.

ECHO

Neva Holland has requested that all ECHO donations made at church cease due to the present virus situation.   She will let everyone know when to resume bringing donations. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please mail it directly to ECHO, 548 E. Bradford Road, Tall., FL 32303

Refuge House Needs

Refuge House needs deodorant, socks, toothpaste, and hotel size toiletries. Please leave your donation on the table in the adult Sunday School room. If you would like to be part of this outreach, please see Margaret Boyette or Jean Ingram.

Pavilion/Audio Visual Update

Please continue to pray and give as the Lord leads you. Through your financial contributions and prayers, enough funds were raised to update our audio/visual system to enable us to record our Worship Services with better clarity and sound. We still need $7,000 to complete the Pavilion near where the Maggie Patterson house was. This pavilion will allow the church to provide more outreach services/programs to the community so we can share the love of Christ with others in our community of Chaires. For detailed information on the structure and how it will be utilized please speak with Marty Holland or Gordon Lightfoot.
